As an industry experience to share with you here is: You may try to make it more simple and easy recognize. Of course the shape must not be too complicate and the color applying must not be more than 3 as well. So, may try to avoid to use gradient color in the logo colors applied.
Drawing and design are different. If you can explore more, you'll know how's interesting of these 2 subject.
